BISD high schools offer a variety of advanced courses, including pre-AP, AP, and dual credit, alongside a robust career and technology education program. Students can earn college credit through dual-credit programs and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, helping them get a head start on their college journey. Students can also graduate with endorsements in areas like STEM, Business & Industry, and Arts & Humanities. In addition, athletics and fine arts programs provide students with opportunities to shine at the state and national levels.

Explore the arts in Birdville ISD! In elementary school, students will enjoy music and art with additional theatre and dance curriculum at Birdville Elementary School. Middle and high school students can participate in art, band, choir, dance, and theatre. All fine arts classes include many opportunities for performances and competitions showcasing their talents!

Birdville ISD Athletics provides students with the chance to compete in a fair, safe, and sportsmanlike environment, blending athletics with education. High school sports include football, soccer, basketball, cross-country, track, gymnastics, golf, tennis, swimming, baseball/softball, volleyball, and wrestling. Middle school offerings include football, basketball, cross-country, track, gymnastics, tennis, and volleyball. Competing in Texas’s UIL Class 5A and 6A, Birdville ISD fosters both personal and athletic growth.

Each year, the Birdville ISD Gifted and Talented Education program nominates students from the fourth grade for the opportunity to attend a summer camp, Lone Star Leadership Academy.
